NOTEWORTHY: Payton Wood drained five 3-pointers and scored a game-high 21 points to help the Stratford Bulldogs power past Stonewall Friday night inside the Murphy-Roberts gymnasium. Stratford led just 19-16 at halftime, but outscored the host Longhorns 28-18 over the final two quarters to secure the victory. Wood also had 12 rebounds for the Bulldogs. Russell Caton scored 10 points for Stratford, while Caleb Miller added four points and eight rebounds. Clayton Findley and Dakota Johnson scored nine points apiece to lead the Stonewall offense.
