A Pawnee man was killed in a collision with a truck Wednesday evening in Payne County.

Christopher A. Dilley, 26, was southbound on state Highway 18 when his 2007 Yamaha motorcycle crossed the center line, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. The motorcycle collided head on with a 2007 Dodge truck driven by 45-year-old Richard J. Blalock of Coalgate.

The motorcycle left the highway to the east, and the truck came to rest on the east side.

Dilley suffered massive injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the highway patrol.

Blalock and his passengers — Coalgate resident Clinton L. Couch, 30, Atoka resident Meagan L. Rains, 22, and Coalgate resident Christian L. Blalock, 41 — all escaped injury. Blalock was not wearing a seat belt, but his passengers were.
