Steve Bagwell, president of Vision Bank Ada, recently announced the following promotions: Chad Lancaster to senior credit officer; Tommy Vass to senior vice president and BSA officer; Chea Christian to senior vice president; Jerreld Underwood to senior vice president of information technology; Brandi Holloway to vice president and compliance officer; Elizabeth Hernandez to vice president and assistant branch manager; James Schreiber to vice president; Brandy Campos to vice president and compliance officer; Tara Priest to vice president and auditing officer; Philip Thompson to loan officer; and Jeremy Wood to assistant vice president.
Lancaster, a graduate of Latta High School and East Central University, has been with Vision Bank for 14 years. He is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Ada and the current president of Latta Partners in Excellence Foundation.
Vass graduated from Latta High School and East Central University before joining the bank over 17 years ago. Vass is treasurer for the ECU Alumni Association, past president of the Southeastern Oklahoma Bankers Association and board member of the Vision Bank Bertha Frank Teague Mid America Classic.
Christian has been with Vision Bank for seven years. She graduated from Quinton High School and Oklahoma State University. She is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking in Colorado. Christian is a chamber of commerce board member, chair of the chamber’s Leadership Committee, Leadership YOUniversity committee member and CASA volunteer.
Underwood graduated from Roff High School before starting his career in technology. He has worked for Vision Bank for 11 years. He is treasurer for the Ada Soccer Club, and past president of The Boys & Girls Club of Ada.
Holloway, who has been with Vision Bank for 13 years, graduated from Ada High School and Oklahoma Baptist University Cum Laude. She is a Certified Community Bank Compliance Officer from the Independent Community Bankers Association.
Hernandez, who has logged 8 years as a Vision Bank employee, is a graduate of Coalgate High School and East Central University. She is a member of the Oklahoma Bankers Association Emerging Leaders and Early Childhood Advisory Council. Hernandez volunteers with the Ada City Schools to offer English as a second language classes for adults and assists with Spanish translation during parent/teacher conferences.
Schreiber graduated from Antlers then earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from East Central University. He has worked in banking the last 12 years, with the last eight at Vision Bank. He and his wife Emily help with FCA at Vanoss.
Campos graduated from McLish High School and East Central University before joining Vision Bank eight years ago. She is a Certified Community Bank Compliance Officer from the Independent Community Bankers Association.
Priest is an Ada High School and East Central University graduate. She is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager from the American Bankers Association and a Certified Community Bank Internal Auditor, Certified Community Bank Compliance Officer, and Certified BSA/AML Professional from the Independent Community Bankers Association.
Thompson was home-schooled in Arkansas before graduating from Ouachita Baptist University. He is a member of the Young Professionals of Ada and Chamber of Commerce.
Wood joined Vision Bank during the past year after working for Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation. He graduated from Ada High School and East Central University with a degree in accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant, and a member of AICPA and OSCPA.
