The Ada Prime Timers met on Oct. 16, 2018, at J.D.’s Cafeteria. After meet-and-greet time, a buffet dinner was served and enjoyed by all.

President Ruth Ann Taylor opened the meeting by introducing visitors Voncille Conway, Ann Lane, Marlene Williams, Carl Rutledge, Loyd Green, Juanita Sutton-Green and Taylor Bean. Carr’s, Jack Witherow’s, Vestal Cole’s, Bette Cole’s and Pat Jarrett-Briley’s October birthdays. Betty and Dean Brown celebrated an October anniversary.

The September minutes were read by Secretary Pat Jarrett-Briley. Treasurer Bette Cole reported a $10 meal expense and took in $30 in membership fees, making a balance in the treasury of $408.03. Humor for the night was presented by Tony Pippin.

The program was presented by Dr. Christopher Bean. The program was on the Revolutionary War. It was a very interesting and enjoyable presentation.
