The Ada Prime Timers met at J. D.’s Cafeteria June 19. After meet-and-greet time, a buffet dinner was served and enjoyed by all.

President Ruth Ann Taylor opened the meeting by welcoming visitors Jeri Corvin, Kathy Parks, Jodi Jackson and Mary James. The invocation was given by Roberto Escamilla. The American flag salute was led by M.E. Carr. “Happy Birthday” was sung to celebrate the June birthdays of Wendell Gurley, Elizabeth Witherow and Joann Hood. Floyd and Pat Gurley, and Wendell and Treva Gurley celebrated June anniversaries.

The May minutes were read by Secretary Pat Jarrett-Briley. Treasurer Bette Cole reported a $10 expense since the May meeting, leaving a balance in the treasury of $378.03. Gerri Stephens will be sending a Share and Care card to Dorthy Milligan.

Humor for the night was presented by Tony Pippen. A wonderful program was presented by Jae Stilwell titled “Strolling Down Memory Lane.” It was so enjoyable to be reminded of songs we had heard and loved through the years.
