Ada Evening News has learned one of the victims of the Oct. 4 car crash has returned to the hospital.
Austin Peteet, 15, was treated and released from Valley View Regional Hospital only to be taken to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City for undiscovered injuries received in the accident. A spokesperson at OUMC said Peteet is in fair condition.
Another person injured in the wreck, Desmond Ferguson, 16, remains in critical condition at OUMC. Darrius Ferguson, 14, was released from OUMC.
Police said Robert Quarterman, 19, was driving north in the 2200 block of North Broadway when he ran off the road.
The out-of-control vehicle crossed Napier Street and traveled 30 feet before crashing into a concrete block building owned by Woods Dirt Contractors.
Quarterman reportedly remains under care at VVRH. Another passenger, Terrance Banner, 16, was reportedly treated and released from VVRH.
