A cloudy Saturday turned sunny just as friends and relatives of Jaimone Kirkland gathered in Roff City Park to bid him farewell by releasing pink and white balloons - some with handwritten messages on them - into the springtime sky. Kirkland, 18, was stabbed to death in Stonewall on April 18.

Cimarron Council Boy Scout Jaden Jenkins repaired and renovated Enid's "Little Sisters of Liberty" statue that was damaged in a storm in 2014. The statue had been in storage since that time until Jenkins put it back on the courthouse Square in March 2021. 

Work continues on the Oklahoma Department of Transportation's project to widen and State Highway 19 west of Ada. This Thursday, April 8, 2021 video shows traffic traveling from west to east along the entire route. It has been sped up 8x.
