3 injured in Latta wreck

Ada — Three people received minor injuries in a two-vehicle wreck in the Latta community Friday morning.

The wreck occurred shortly before 8 a.m. at the intersection of County Road 1560 and state Highway 1.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper Tyler Jack said Seth Adam Scott, 18, Ada, was driving a Chrysler 300 west on CR 1560 when he failed to yield the right-of-way from a stop sign while crossing SH 1, and pulled into the path of a Toyota car driven northeast on SH 1 by 56-year-old Carla Ann Woods of Sulphur. The vehicles collided front corner to front corner.

Woods, Scott and a passenger in Scott's vehicle, 10-year-old Jesse Scott of Ada, were taken by Mercy EMS to Mercy Hospital Ada to be treated for non life-threatening injuries, Jack said.
