Megan Mayhue marries Ritchie Sontag Oct. 15

Ada —  

ADA — Megan Mayhue and Ritchie Sontag, both of Tulsa, were married Oct. 15, 2011, at Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian Church in Tulsa. Dr. Wayne Hardy officiated the 6 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Charles and Teresa Mayhue, Ada. Grandparents are Bob and Willene Hotson, Ada, Mary Jean Mayhue, Ada, and the late G.C. Mayhue Jr.

Parents of the bridegroom are John and Karen Sontag, Sapulpa. Grandparents are Madia Sontag, Sapulpa, and the late John F. Sontag, Catherine Ritchie, Sapulpa, and the late Thomas A. Ritchie.

Charles Mayhue gave his daughter in marriage.

Michelle Mayhue, sister of the bride, Tulsa, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mikella Mims, Holdenville, Kelsey Veldstra, Tulsa, Laina Kennedy, McLean, Va., Caton Hill, San Antonio, Texas, Jennifer Jenkins, Norman.

Best man was Ryan Ritchie, uncle of the bridegroom, Tulsa. Groomsmen were Nick Madden, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, Sapulpa, Shannon Barrett, Abilene, Texas, Chad LaFevers, Sapulpa, Sam Dodson, Tulsa, and Jimmy Panepinto, Denver, Colo.

Ushers were Mason Mayhue, brother of the bride, Ada, Garrett Abney and Dalton Abney, nephews of the bride, both of Tulsa, Chad Palm, Tulsa, and Clark Cottongim, Tulsa.

Darcy Dayton, Dallas, Texas, Erin Van Horn, Tulsa, and Courtney Hininger, Tulsa, also attended the bride.

Parents of the bride hosted a reception at Tulsa Country Club.

The couple is at home in Tulsa following a wedding trip to St. Lucia.

The bride is employed as a physician assistant at Tulsa Women’s Healthcare. The bridegroom is a regional sales manager for UroSource Medical.
