Miller, Brown exchange vows

Ada —  

ADA — Hillery Dawn Miller, Ada, and Tyler Brown, Stonewall, were married July 23, 2011, at St. Luke's Episcopal Church. The Rev. John D. Norvell officiated the 5 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Joy Dawn Miller, Ada. She is the granddaughter of Walter and Joyce Williams, Ada; the late John S. Choate Jr. and the late Percy and Edna Miller.

Parents of the bridegroom are the late Kyle and Kim Brown; and Zack and Donna Munday, Lula. He is the grandson of Jean Brady, Lula, and the late Betty Nowlin.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Matron of honor was Katrina Brown, sister of the bride, Ada. Bridesmaids were Caitlin Miller, sister of the bride, Ada, Madeleine Teter, Laramie, Wyo., Karry Baker, Ada, and Branda Stephens, Ada.

Best man was Jake Munday, brother of the bridegroom, Norman, Groomsmen were Zeke Munday, brother of the bridegroom, Norman, Heath Cannon, brother of the bridegroom, Skiatook, Nick Skokos, Ada, and Justin Morrison, Ada.

Ushers were Todd Brown, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, Ada, Mickey Ballard, uncle of the bride, Ada, and Michael Miller, brother of the bride, Noble.

Ringbearer was Caden Cannon, nephew of the bridegroom, Skiatook. Torchbearers were Sam and Matthew Brown, nephews of the bride, Ada. Guestbook attendants were Jaylee Fleming, cousin of the bride, Purcell, and Bayleigh Miller, niece of the bride, Noble. Flower girl was Brooklynn Fleming, cousin of the bride, Purcell.

Following the ceremony, parents of the bride hosted a reception at Oak Hills Golf and Country Club.

The couple is at home at Union Valley following a wedding trip to Gran Porto Real Resort in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.


Rehearsal dinner was hosted by Zack and Donna Munday.  A bridesmaids' luncheon was given  by Mary Taylor and Jenny Reyher. A bridal shower was given by Katrina Brown, Pat Correll, Karry Baker and Branda Stephens. A personal shower was hosted by Christi McDown, Tonya George, Sandi Chandler, Jolene Pearce-Esio, Amanda Poe, Tammy Jones-Johnson and Barbie Moon.
