Miller, Brown exchange vows

Ada — Exchanging wedding vows May 27, 2010, were Katrina Elaine Miller and Jeffery Todd Brown, both of Ada. The ceremony took place at Provodenciales Turks and Caicos Beaches Resort. Wayde Coleby officiated the 10 a.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Joy Dawn Miller, Ada. She is the granddaughter of Walter and Joyce Williams, the late John Choate and the late Percy and Edna Miller.

Parents of the bridegroom are Wilson Brown, Jones; and LaDonna Brown, Plano, Texas. He is the grandson of the late Sam and Christine Brown; the late Rosie Brown and the late Harry and Iva Laufer.

The bride's father gave her in marriage.

The bride wore an ivory silk dupion strapless short dress with a draped bodice. She wore a silver comb adorned with lace in her hair and carried a bouquet of dark violet orchids.

The bridegroom wore an ivory silk shirt and dark brown slacks and a dark violet boutonniere.

A reception was held at a beach side gazebo surrounded by tropical flowers and palm trees. The wedding cake was a two-tiered white cake topped with dark violet orchids.

In attendance were sons of the bridegroom, Sam and Matthew, and sisters of the bride, Hillary and Caitlin Miller, and the bride's parents.
