Megan Logan marries Richard Baughman Jr.

Konawa —  

Exchanging wedding vows May 22, 2010, at the home of the bride’s parents in Wewoka, were Megan Leigh Logan and Richard Truett Baughman Jr., both of Konawa. Jimmie Lou Logan, grandmother of the bride, officiated the 7 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Daniel and Johna Logan, Wewoka. 

Parents of the bridegroom are Debbie Baughman, Ada, and the late Richard Truett Baughman.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Maid of honor was  April Graves, Ada. Bridesmaids were Allison Ross, Ada, Rachel Jantzen, Tulsa, and JoAnn Baughman, sister of the bridegroom.

Best man was Chris Attwood, Ada. Groomsman was Josh Stewart, Joe Ross and Chris Wood, all of Ada.

Man of honor was Ryan Guinn, cousin of the bride, Ada.

The bride’s gown was of ivory silk satin styled with lavish details on the ballgown silhouette. Appliques of delicate net illusion lace on the bodice were encrusted with sequins and pearls which enhanced the sweetheart neckline of the strapless gown. Her shoulder length veil was of ivory tulle sprinkled with small rhinestones attached to a comb. Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a reception at their home. Assisting were Robyn Jones and Carla Barton, aunt of the bridegroom.

Reception tables were covered in brown and iridescent blue table cloths Each table was decorated with large bronze cherubs and candles.

The three-tier wedding cake, iced in ivory, was displayed on a large sterling silver cake tray. One layer of the cake was white with raspberry filling and two layers were chocolate. A wreath of fresh blue hydrangeas were placed between the bottom and middle layers. Topping the cake was a large silver “B.”

The couple is at home in Konawa following a wedding trip to Mexico-Riviera Myan.
