Stribling, Hignite exchange vows

Ada — SKIATOOK — Bonnie Stribling, Skiatook, and Tim Hignite, Ada, were married Sept. 25, 2010, at Atwood. Gary Lukens officiated the 5 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Anne Stribling, Skiatook, and the late Jamie Stribling. She is the granddaughter of Edna Stribling, Auburn, Neb., and John and Sue Walsh, Tulsa.

Parents of the bridegroom are Kathy Hignite, Atwood, and the late Bennie Hignite. Grandparents are Rose and Dean Wright, North Carolina.

The bride was given in marriage by Matt Hignite.

Maid of honor was Carne Culkins, Skiatook, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Chelsey Hale, Skiatook, sister of the bride, and Kristy Herman, Shawnee, aunt of the bridegroom.

Best man was Matt Hignite, Midwest City, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Jesse Anderson, Ada, cousin of the bridegroom; Shane Clark, Midwest City, cousin of the bridegroom; Sam Hasty and Clay Hasty, both cousins of the bridegroom from Luther.

Phenix Clark was usher.

Following the ceremony, the bridegroom's mother hosted a reception at her home in Atwood.

The couple is at home in Ada following a honeymoon in Costa Rica.
