Mathews, André exchange vows

Ada — ADA — Sara Mathews and Alex André exchanged wedding vows March 13, 2010, at Oklahoma City. Richard Atzbach officiated the 6 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mike and Donna Mathews, Ada. She is the granddaughter of the late Hester and Frank Harber.

Parents of the bridegroom are Sergio and Laura André, Tulsa. Grandparents are Cecilia and Mario Calvo, Costa Rica, and Ana and Juan André, Costa Rica.

Maid of honor was Tessia Kotarski, Norman. Bridesmaids were Melanie Logan, Ada,  Kara Bolognini and Nancy Bass, both of Norman, all sorority sisters of the bride.

Sergio André, Tulsa, served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Geoffrey Brewer, Norman, Russell Smith, Dallas, Texas, and Pat Cullinan, Norman.

Ushers were Russell Smith, Dallas, and Sergio André.

Kaliegh Mathews, niece of the bride, Ada, was flower girl. Ring bearers were  Cody Mathews, nephew of the bride, Ada, and Anthony André, nephew of the bridegroom, Tulsa.

Following a reception at Hall of Mirrors of the Civic Center Music Hall, the couple honeymooned in Tahiti and Moorea. They are at home in Oklahoma City.
