Authorities: Boley couple died of gunshot wounds

Boley —

The Oklahoma state medical examiner says a husband and wife found dead in their home in rural Okfuskee County were shot to death.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has said that 54-year-old Denver Holloway and 53-year-old Martha Holloway were found dead March 11 at their home about two miles south of Boley.

Denver Holloway’s uncle — Ott Johnson — told The Oklahoman that his nephew had managed a ranch and previously worked as a farm manager and as a mechanic.

While the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is assisting Okfuskee County with the investigation, there’s been little new information released about the probe since Tuesday.

OSBI Spokeswoman Jessica Brown has said investigators have some good leads, but the case remains under investigation.

If anyone has information about this case, they are asked to call the OSBI hotline at 1-800-522-8017.
