Body may be Tuttle man

Tuttle — Grady County Sheriff Jim Weir says a body found in Tuttle appears to be that of a Tuttle man missing for more than a week.

Weir told KWTV that the body found Sunday afternoon appears to be that of 32-year-old Christopher Lane. Weir says Lane was last seen Dec. 7 walking into a wooded area near his home.

The sheriff says the body was found about a mile from the home with clothing and Lane’s identification nearby. He says the body is being sent to the state medical examiner’s office to determine the cause of death and to confirm the identity.
