Easy transition for Ada assistant coach Wade Boyles

Ada —      It would be difficult to name anyone more prepared to become a varsity assistant coach for the Ada Cougars than Wade Boyles.

During his two-year stint with the Ada Junior High coaching staff, Boyles was a fixture with Matt Weber’s varsity staff as well, a talented addition under the lights on Friday nights.

Boyles, originally from Marlow and an ECU graduate, was an assistant at Coalgate for three years before being named head coach his final year there in 2010. As head coach, he took the Wildcats to the second round of the playoffs and an 8-4 record. Though he moves up to the varsity, he will remain on the AJH faculty. Read more in The Ada News.
