The East Central University women’s golf team finished tied for 14th, out of 17 teams, at the Broncho Fall Classic that wrapped up Tuesday at Lincoln Park (East) Golf Course.
The Lady Tigers were led by freshman Molli Taylor, who tied for 38th individually. Taylor finished the tournament with a 158 (73-85). Junior Lindsey Lunceford tied for 67th with a 167 (87-80).
Senior Megan Dutton was two strokes behind with a 169 (89-80) and finished tied for 73rd. Sophomore Sarah Delong and junior Shaw Shaw were the final two participants for ECU. Delong was tied for 78th, with a 170 (84-86) and Shaw was in 86th, with a 173 (84-89).
The Lady Tigers will play their next tournament in Oklahoma City, Okla., but this time will play at Lake Hefner (South) when the participate in the GAC Preview Tournament hosted by Southern Nazarene, Oct. 13-15.
