NOTEWORTHY: Vanoss scored five runs in the bottom of the first and cruised past Strother. Pitchers Vanoss pitchers Blake Blankenship and AJ Christy combined to strike out nine batters in the win. Christy and Riley McCulley led a 12-hit VHS attack with 2-for-3 efforts while Dillon Lamb finished 1-for-2 with a double.

Team Record: Vanoss 2-2.

NOTEWORTHY: Dalton Reed blasted a three-run homer and Mike Anderson collected four hits as Roff upended Stonewall, 17-8, on Tuesday in an error-plagued baseball game. Each team committed eight miscues in the contest. Anderson went 4-for-4 from the plate, drove home two runs and scored four times. Reed was 2-for-3 with his homer, three RBIs and three runs scored. Hunter Larsh went 3-for-4 and scored a run for the winners and teammate C.J. Johnson was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a run scored. Zach Lewis also hit a triple for the Tigers. Johnson, the starting pitcher, was credited with the win after being relieved by Anderson in the third inning. Chase Finley went 3-for-3 and scored a run for the Longhorns and Tyler Campise was 2-for-3 with a double and scored twice. Stonewall starter Gage Burns was tagged with the loss.
