NOTEWORTHY: Brittany Sanders hit a solo-homer in the second inning while Paige Vick and Kaitlin Watson each went 2-for-3 from the plate as Tupelo routed Coleman, 9-1, in five innings on Tuesday. Vick, who picked up the pitching victory, also drove home four runs and scored once. Sanders was 1-for-1 and finished with two runs batted in. Courtney Hickman went 1-for-2 with one RBI and two runs scored. 

Record: Tupelo is 3-2

NOTEWORTHY: Class A third-ranked Asher advanced to the championship game of the Red, White and Blue Conference Tournament with a 7-5 decision on Tuesday over Maud. Desaray Goodgion went 3-for-3 with a two-run double and Shelby Fleming was 2-for-2 with an RBI double. Tristan Milburn also contributed a pair of singles for the victorious Lady Indians, who compiled 13 hits. Maud also finished with 14 hits as each team had just one error.

NOTEWORTHY: Tarin Dubler, Haley Odell and Haylee Andrews collected four hits apiece as the Class A third-ranked Asher Lady Indians edged Maud, 21-20, to claim the championship on Tuesday in the championship game of the Red, White and Blue Conference Tournament. Dubler went 4-for-5 with a three-run triple and Odell was 4-for-4 with a two-run double. Andrews went 4-for-5 with all singles. Malery Luman was 3-for-4 with all singles.
