NOTEWORTHY: A game-winning, walk-off homer by House in the bottom of the fifth lifted host Rattan (No. 1 in Class 3A) to the one-run victory in five innings. Jordyn Scott, Carlee Henderson and Katie Miller each collected two hits and drove in a pair of runs for the Lady Panthers (No. 8 in Class 4A) in a losing cause. Makenzi Lamb also had two hits for Latta. Rattan had a 14-13 edge in total hits.

NOTEWORTHY: Carlee Henderson, Jordyn Scott and Sydney Brinlee each homered as Latta pounded Smithville in a five-inning contest. Henderson went 3-for-4 from the plate with two runs batted in and three runs scored. Anna Wood was 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a pair of runs scored and Makenzi Lamb also went 2-for-4 with one RBI and three runs scored. The Lady Panthers totaled 12 hits compared to Smithville’s five.
