NOTEWORTHY: Class 4A No. 8 Stratford pounded out 11 hits and Morgan Tice limited Allen to two as the Lady Bulldogs upended the Lady Mustangs, 9-1, on Tuesday. Three Stratford players – Reagan Tice (2-for-2 with two RBIs and a run scored), Carli Etheridge (2-for-3 with one RBI and a run scored) and Brook Miner (2-for-3 with a run scored) —  had multiple hits for the Lady Bulldogs. Randa Hatter was 1-for-1 with a double, two RBIs and a run scored, and Morgan Tice went 1-for-2 with an RBI and a run scored.

Up Next: Stratford hosts Vanoss on Thursday for Senior Day. Three Stratford seniors – Morgan Tice, Chloe Trent and Leah Parker — will be honored.

NOTEWORTHY: Breecia Crawford, Lauren Trimmer and Tori Brown each went 3-for-4 from the plate as Roff routed Asher, 18-4, in six innings on Tuesday. Breecia Crawford homered, tripled, drove home five runs and scored three times. Trimmer doubled twice, knocked in a pair of runs and scored three runs. Brown doubled once, scored twice and got the pitching win, scattering seven hits. Kendall Sanford, Ashley Cornell, Jalee Hood and Kaylea Riley added two hits apiece as the Lady Tigers compiled 19 in the game. Tristan Milburn and Haley Odell each went 2-for-3 for Asher as Milburn scored two runs. Sarah Wauahdooah was 1-for-2 with a double and knocked in two runs in a losing cause. Asher led 2-0 after one inning before Roff scored eight runs in the second, three in the fourth and six in the seventh.

NOTEWORTHY: Danielle Khoury, Brittany Lancaster and Brooke Snow collected two hits apiece as Konawa crushed Stonewall, 14-2, in three innings on Tuesday. Lancaster and Snow drove in two runs each, and Khoury knocked in one. The Lady Tigers ended up with 11 hits, while Stonewall finished with just three as Snow surrendered one earned run in picking up the pitching victory. Mackenzie Davis homered for the Lady Longhorns in a losing effort. Only three of the 14 Konawa runs were earned. The Lady Tigers jumped on Stonewall with eight first-inning runs before scoring once in the second and five more times in the third.

NOTEWORTHY: Madison Abney hit a walk-off grand slam in the bottom of the third inning to end the game in a 14-2 run rule. Abney finished 2-for-3 with two runs scored and six RBIs. Savanna Humphrey and Shelbey Parnacher were both 2-for-2 at the plate. The big victory came on Senior Night.

NOTEWORTHY: Tyler Daffern allowed just three earned runs off four hits with no walks and seven strikeouts in six complete innings as Tupelo trounced Wapanucka, 11-3, on Monday. Daffern also went 2-for-3 from the plate, doubled once, drove home a run and scored twice in the Tigers’ eight-hit attack. Teammate Caleb Watson was 2-for-2 with one RBI and two runs scored, and Bry Bratcher went 2-for-4 with a double, one RBI and two runs scored. Chisum Henry was 1-for-2 with three RBIs for Tupelo, which jumped on Wapanucka with five first-inning runs and cruised from there.

NOTEWORTHY: Luke Leland gave up just three hits as all three Vanoss runs were unearned in the Tigers’ 5-3 win over Vanoss on Tuesday. Leland allowed no walks and struck out four in earning the pitching victory. Tupelo ended up with five hits as Caleb Watson doubled and drove in a run in a 1-for-3 effort. Chisum Henry, Tyler Daffern and Jordan Thunderbull were each 1-for-2, as Henry scored a pair of runs while Daffern crossed the plate once. Bry Bratcher knocked in a run and scored once while going 1-for-4. Vanoss took a 3-0 lead in the first before Tupelo scored once in the second, two times in the fourth and two more times in the sixth to break the 3-all tie.

NOTEWORTHY: C.J. Johnson allowed no earned runs on just three hits and one walk while striking out three as Roff ripped visiting Varnum, 16-1, on Tuesday. Jacob Jones hit a three-run homer for the Tigers and finished with four runs batted in, and Cade Carpenter went 2-for-4 with one RBI and a run scored. Roff, which compiled 10 hits in the contest, jumped on Varnum with four first-inning runs, tallied two in the second, scored seven times in the third and added three more in the fourth.

Up Next: Roff hosts Rattan at 12:30 p.m. Thursday in the Roff Tournament.
