NOTEWORTHY: Four Roff players reached double figures as Roff routed Mill Creek. ZachLewis led the way with 16 points, Lonnie Peterson added 14, Dalton Madden tossed in 11 and Hunter Larsh finished with 10. The Lady Tigers jumped out to an 18-6 lead after one quarter and cruised to a 38-17 halftime cushion. It was 61-26 through three periods.

NOTEWORTHY: Chase Finley fired in 22 points as Stonewall, behind solid defensive effort in the first half, rolled to a 10-point victory over Earlsboro on Tuesday. Gage Burns followed with 17 points for the Longhorns and Tanner Dees ended up with 14. Derrick McCormick and Ethan Bateman topped the Wildcats with 16 points apiece. Stonewall jumped out to a 17-6 lead after one quarter and cruised to a 30-14 halftime advantage, holding Earlsboro to single digits in each of the first two periods.

COACH’S QUOTE: “Defensively in the first half, was as well as we’ve played all year. I felt, in the second half, they we let up and let them back in the game,” — Stonewall Head Coach Wes Moreland.
