NOTEWORTHY: Calera’s Jonathon Diamond knocked down eight of his team’s 11 3-pointers as Calera rolled by Stonewall, 76-50, on Tuesday. Diamond finished with a game-high 31 points and was joined in double figures by teammates Brad McNutt with 14 and Braxton Barton with 12. Tanner Dees and Christian Morgan paced the Longhorns with 16 points each in a losing effort. Dees sank three treys, and Christian Morgan had one. Chase Finley also contributed eight points for Stonewall. Calera jumped on the Longhorns to take a 22-7 advantage after one quarter. Calera then went on to a 46-25 halftime lead. It was 64-37 through three quarters.
