Seminole football star clutch down stretch in slim victory over Ada boys

Aaliyah Blakley fought through a tough shooting night to finish with 12 points, five rebounds and two steals, while Sami Jewett hit a trio of 3-pointers to follow with nine points and three takeaways. Olivia Wells added six points and 10 rebounds for the Lady Cougars. Haley Dean didn’t score but had seven boards.

Lee’s two 3-pointers and six points were enough to lead Seminole off the bench.

The Ada defense helped force 29 Seminole turnovers.

Both Ada teams played in the championship games of the Global Productions Classic in Bethel Wednesday night, and they will travel to McAlester Saturday to take on the rival Buffaloes. Varsity game times are set for 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
