NOTEWORTHY: In another error-plagued contest, Stonewall compiled nine hits as the Lady Longhorns ousted Weleetka from its own district. Each team committed a whopping 10 errors in the contest. Justice Dees was the only multiple hitter for Stonewall, going 2-for-4 with a homer, three RBIs and a run scored. Allie Denson, Jordan Pharr, Kim Helms and Lyndsay Daffern drove in a run apiece for the winners.

NOTEWORTHY: Breann Gipson slugged two home runs in a 4-for-4 effort with six runs batted in and three runs scored as the Lady Longhorns beat Mason and stayed alive in the regional. Justice Dees, Kim Helms and Shaina Bills collected two hits each for Stonewall, which piled up 13 for the game. One of Helms’ hits went for a double. Jordan Pharr allowed only four hits.

NOTEWORTHY: Stonewall saw its season come to an end after committing six errors as Mason captured the Class 2A regional title. Lyndsay Daffern went 2-for-3 with a double and drove home two runs, and Justice Dees was 1-for-3 with a double and scored once. Jordan Pharr also went 1-for-2 and scored a run. The Lady Eagles will advance to next week’s regional tournament having won eight of their past nine games.

Record: Stonewall’s season ends at 22-8; Mason is 17-8.
