NOTEWORTHY: Brittany Sanders homered and got the pitching win, while Keara Bourland went 4-for-4 from the plate with a double, two runs batted in and a run scored as Tupelo routed Coleman in six innings. Brittany Sanders was 2-for-3 and finished with four RBIs and two runs scored. Kate McCoy, Paige Vick, Kayley Sanders, Kristyn Parker and Courtney Hickman added two hits apiece for the Lady Tigers, who totaled 18. Summer Box homered twice and drove in four runs for Coleman.

NOTEWORTHY: Haley Ellis’ RBI single in the bottom of the eighth won it for Tupelo. Kayley Sanders went 3-for-4 from the plate and scored a run while teammate Paige Vick was 2-for-4 and scored twice for the Lady Tigers. For Stonewall, Breann Gipson went 2-for-2 with a homer and scored twice, and Danielle Clarke was 1-for-3 with two runs batted in and a run scored. Tupelo had a 12-9 edge in total hits.
