Oklahoma has several first-year players in its receiving corps with freshmen Trey Metoyer, Durron Neal, Sterling Shepard and Derrick Woods joining junior college transfer LaColton Bester and Penn State transfer Justin Brown.
All the new faces means receivers coach Jay Norvell might have the toughest job of any position coach. Norvell doesn't see it that way.
"I feel like that every training camp. We kind of roll our sleeves up and get challenged every training camp. So no, I don't see anything different than any other year," he said. "We've got a lot of inexperienced players that have to learn how to play. But every year your challenges are different. We had some major challenges last year at this time, when we felt like we had some experience. I don't feel that way at all. I feel like I've got a job to do and every year I've felt that way."
