NOTEWORTHY: The Lady Longhorns, ranked 13th in Class 2A, after falling behind 1-0 in the opening inning, scored 10 runs in their half of the frame to take a 10-1 lead and never looked back. Lyndsey Daffren and Cheyenne Miller, who each had three hits, hit home runs. Along with Daffren and Miller, Brittany Gipson and Brettney Brady also had three hits, while Breann Gipson, Amanda Transue (who got the win) and Savannah Burwell all had two hits apiece — and as a team Stonewall had 22 hits total.

NOTEWORTHY: Just as in the opener, after falling behind 1-0, the Lady ‘Horns scored six runs in the first inning and 13 more in the second to win going away. While getting 17 hits in the nightcap (39 all total for the doubleheader), none were home runs. Brettney Brady, Cheyanne Miller, Kaitlinn Wright, Breann Gipson, Brittany Gipson, Bradianne Daniel and Amanda Transue (who got her second win of the day) all had two hits apiece for Stonewall.

NOTEWORTHY: Chelsey Patterson allowed two hits over four innings, and Konawa (No. 2 in Class 4A) stayed hot with the run-rule victory. Elda Isaacs hit a walkoff two-run homer in the bottom of the fourth to end the game, and Ciara Kuestersteffen, Sara Reeves and Melanie Gladden had two hits apiece for the Lady Tigers.

NOTEWORTHY: Miranda Hix drove in seven runs with a first-inning grand slam and a sixth-inning double, and Coalgate run-ruled Seminole. The Lady Wildcats ended the game with eight runs in the sixth, after Seminole had trimmed an early 12-1 Coalgate lead to 12-9 with seven runs in the fourth. Kyrstan Glasco had five hits and drove in three runs, and Haley Williams had three hits for Coalgate, which outhit Seminole 20-10.
