NOTEWORTHY: Amanda Transue pitched a three-hitter, and Stonewall (No. 3 in Class 2A) scored the go-ahead run in the third en route to the road victory. Brittany Gipson and Paige Curtis had two hits apiece to pace Stonewall’s 10-hit attack, and Bradianne Daniel gave the Lady Longhorns two insurance runs with a single in the top of the fourth.

Kelsey Anderson added two hits and Lauren Trimmer was 1-for-2 with two runs and two RBIs for Roff, which outhit Konawa, 11-3.

NOTEWORTHY: Dalen Qualls doubled home winning pitcher Randy Brown with two outs in the top of the seventh and scored on a triple by Nick Cosby as Stratford rallied to beat Wynnewood. Qualls also hit a two-run inside-the-park home run in the third to give the Bulldogs a 3-2 lead before Wynnewood rallied for two runs in the bottom of the inning to take its final lead of the game. Stratford then tied it in the top of the sixth. Qualls was 2-for-3 with three RBIs, and Cosby and Tyler Gaines added two hits apiece for the Bulldogs, who were outhit by the Savages, 9-8.

Trey Roberson allowed five hits to earn his fifth win of the season, and Jake Sanders had four hits and scored four runs for the Tigers. Brandon Maggia had three hits, including a double, and scored four times while driving in four runs; Brandon Chamberlain had two hits, including a double, and three RBIs; and Tanner Davis and H. D. Bullard added two hits apiece for Tupelo, which won for the 15th time in 17 games.
