The Class A No. 11 Stonewall Lady Longhorns cruised past the Calera Lady Bulldogs 67-39 Tuesday for a victory on senior night.

Stonewall held Calera to 13-of-56 (23 percent) shooting and had a 41-25 rebounding advantage. Stonewall moves to 18-7 and will play the winner of the Strother/Bowlegs matchup for the District championship on Saturday night inside the Murphy-Roberts Gym.

In the boys game, Calera outlasted Stonewall 79-63.

Despite being short on numbers (only seven players were suited up for Stonewall) the Longhorns played hard, but came up short. With the loss Stonewall falls to 14-11. The Longhorns will play Bowlegs on Friday night in district action at Stonewall at 8:00 p.m.
