Ada tennis chili supper

planned for Thursday

ADA — The annual Ada tennis chili supper is Thursday from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Central Church of Christ Family Life Center, 820 Stadium Drive.

Cost is $4 per person and includes chili and a variety of homemade desserts.

All proceeds benefit the Ada tennis program.



Registration under way

for youth basketball

ADA — Boys and girls in grades 5-8 can now register for a USA basketball league held this winter at East Central University.

The deadline to register is Nov. 5.

League games begin the first weekend in December and will be played in ECU’s McBride Gym.

Tupelo school now offering

2006-07 all-sports passes

TUPELO — All-sports passes for high school and junior high events are now available at Tupelo.

Passes may be purchased during school hours at the high school office or at any high school or junior high basketball game. Passes are good for all high school and junior high games from Nov. 1, 2006, to Nov. 1, 2007.

Cost is $50 for adults, $20 for students and $80 for a family pass.

to meet Oct. 30

ADA — A meeting for parents of Ada wrestlers of all ages has been scheduled for Monday, Oct. 30, at the Ada Junior High cafeteria.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m.

All-sports passes now

available at Roff

ROFF — Roff All-Sports Season Passes are now on sale at the high school office.

Tickets are good from Oct. 1, 2006, through Sept. 30, 2007, for all sporting events sponsored by Roff Schools. Passes are not good for OSSAA playoff events. Passes will be sold through November 2006.

Cost is $90 per family, $50 per adult and $25 for students.

Boys and Girls Club plans

end-of-season tournament

ADA — The Boys and Girls Club will host its first end-of-season soccer tournament Saturday, Oct. 28. All teams that played during the fall season will participate with an end-of-season cookout and presentation of medals after the tournament. For more information, phone (580) 332-3717.
