Oklahoma State University’s Keanon Simon drove in the winning run with a 12th-inning single as the Cowboys defeated Louisville Saturday 3-2 to even up their Super Regional series at one game apiece. The winner of Sunday’s game — scheduled for 3 p.m. — will earn a spot in the 2007 College World Series. The Cardinals won the opener of the best-of-3 series Friday 9-0.Simon, a senior, was a 25-round draft pick of the Pittsburgh Pirates in Thursday and Friday’s Major League Baseball Amateur Draft. A total of 11 Cowboys were selected. Simon played high school baseball at Allen. His brother, Ead Simon, is the head baseball coach at Roff.
