NOTEWORTHY: German exchange student Miriam Bung had her second huge game in a row with 21 points and seven rebounds, and Roff sprinted to a 38-7 halftime lead en route to the easy win. Kayla Balthrop was in double figures for the second straight game with 15 points in the win, Jennifer Gordy hit a pair of 3-pointers and finished with seven points, and, although senior Jessica Bacon was held scoreless, she chipped in with nine assists, five rebounds and four steals.

NOTEWORTHY: Wanette’s Megan Starks, who missed most of the 2005-2006 season with an injury, had 20 points and 20 rebounds, and Hallea Middleton also had a double-double with 12 points and 12 boards to offset 32 points by Calvin’s Emily Hassler and keep the Lady Tigers unbeaten on the young season. Calvin led, 25-24, at halftime, but Wanette had 38 second-half points, including 24 in the final period. Sierra Barnhart had 10 points for Calvin in the loss.
