Two more wins for Lady Cougs

NOTEWORTHY: Leah Huling struck out 12 and allowed just four hits en route to her 12th win of the season, and Ada snapped a 1-1 tie with three runs in the top of the eighth to beat Holdenville. The victory was the third in extra innings for the Lady Cougars in eight days. Huling, Alexis Walker and Lindi Robinson all had RBI singles for the Lady Cougars, and Walker and Robinson had two hits apiece to key an eight-hit attack.

NOTEWORTHY: Ada pitchers Lindi Robinson and Leah Huling combined for 11 strikeouts and Mout Saint Mary's managed just two hits in the four-inning run-rule victory. Brooklyn Cupps finished 2-for-3 for the Lady Cougars while Kendal Johnson and Huling added two RBIs apiece.

Team Record: Ada 13-7.

NOTEWORTHY: Makenzi Lamb and Cheyenne Crews had three hits and drove in three runs apiece, and Latta rallied from a 9-4 deficit to beat visiting Tupelo. Lamb had a two-run single and Crews added an RBI hit in a four-run fourth-inning rally that trimmed Tupelo's lead to 9-8, and the Lamb added an RBI single and Crews had a two-run single in a three-run fifth-inning outburst that gave Latta the lead for good. Shelbey Parnacher also had two hits and scored three runs for the Lady Panthers, who outhit Tupelo, 13-5. Kelsie Warner had a two-run double to highligh the Lady Tigers' five-run second inning.

Byng move-in Darcy Bowerman had a triple to ignite Roff's five-run fourth inning and scored two runs in her first start for the Lady Tigers, and Kelsey Anderson and Kendall Sanford added two hit apiece in the win.
