NOTEWORTHY: McKenzie Miner poured in 22 points, including four 3-point baskets, as the Stratford Lady Bulldogs upended the visiting Lexington Lady Wildcats, 53-42, on Tuesday night. Macy Blackburn knocked down a pair of treys and finished with 10 points for Stratford, followed by Laney Anderson with seven points and Lakelynn Anderson with six. Leading 16-15 at the half, the Lady Bulldogs went on a 22-14 run in the third quarter and outscored Lexington, 15-13, in the fourth.

NOTEWORTHY: The Class 2A 20th-ranked Konawa Lady Tigers opened up a 16-3 advantage through one quarter and cruised to a 66-22 rout of the host Wayne Bulldogs Tuesday night. Kayden King led the way for Konawa with 19 points to go with three rebounds and Shelby Gentry added 15 points, including one trey, to go with five boards, six assists and a pair of steals. Frankie Soar chipped in eight points, five rebounds, four assists, two blocked shots and a steal. Charlyee Ortiz recorded three steals and three boards to go with her four points and Charlene Galimba compiled six rebounds, five assists and two steals to go with her two points. After the first quarter, the Lady Tigers continued their domination with a 21-6 second quarter in building a 37-9 halftime cushion. It was 54-19 through three periods.

Team Record: Konawa 17-5.

NOTEWORTHY: Stringtown limited Tupelo to six first-half points in registering a 30-27 decision over the Lady Tigers Monday night. Lindsey Meek led Tupelo with nine points, as she connected on her team’s only 3-pointer. Kaya Stallcup followed with six points in a losing cause before fouling out.

Team Records: Tupelo 3-18. Stringtown 7-15.

NOTEWORTHY: The Stratford Bulldogs needed a big fourth quarter to rally past hot-shooting Lexington 67-61 at home Tuesday night. Coach Mark Qualls’ team prevailed despite watching Lexington sink 13 3-pointers in the game. The hosts trailed 47-44 heading into the fourth quarter before Stratford went on a 23-14 burst to end the game. Samuel Stoliby hit three 3-point shots to pace the SHS offense, while Landon Wood added 17 points and post player Noah Johnson followed with 16. Seth Comer hit seven 3-pointers to score 21 points to pace Lexington.

Team Record: Stratford 8-13.

NOTEWORTHY: Michael Moralez tossed in 16 points and sank three treys as the Tupelo Tigers held off a fourth-quarter comeback by Stringtown in claiming a 46-43 win Monday night. Christian McLean added 12 points, and Austin Vick finished with 11 in contributing to the Tupelo attack. The Tigers led 11-9 after one quarter, 29-15 at halftime and 36-22 through three periods before Stringtown made it close with a 21-10 fourth.

Team Record: Tupelo 15-8.
