NOTEWORTHY: A walk-off three run double in the bottom of the seventh inning lifted Washington (No. 7 in Class 3A) to a 6-5 victory over the Latta Panthers (No. 2 in Class 3A) on Tuesday. Latta held an 8-4 advantage in total hits as Kyle Rogers (2-for-3) and Randis Gray (2-for-4) led the way. Gray drove home three runs and Rogers ended up with one RBI and scored once. Rylan Reed also knocked in a run in a 1-for-2 effort with a run scored and a walk. Jacob Savage suffered the pitching loss after relieving starter Austin Ellenberg in the seventh. All four runs scored by Washington in the seventh were unearned.

Team Records: Latta 16-5; Washington 15-5.

NOTEWORTHY: Roff had an 11-6 advantage in total hits, but dropped a 10-6 decision to Amber-Pocasset on Tuesday. Dayne Bowerman went 3-for-5 with a double, two runs batted in and a run scored while Aiden Bagwell was 2-for-3 with one RBI for Roff, Jacob Savage (1-for-3), Jacob Jones (1-for-3) and Conner Priest each drove home a run for the Tigers. Priest suffered the pitching loss after relieving the starter Bowerman. Josh Lewis pitched the final two frames. Cache Anglin finished 1-for-3 with a home run and four RBIs for the Panthers, while Jordan Torres had two hits.

NOTEWORTHY: Alexis Lambert hit two home runs and Maebree Abney had one, but it wasn’t enough as the Stonewall Lady Longhorns dropped a 15-5 decision to the Dale Lady Pirates on Tuesday. Dale doubled Stonewall’s hit total at 16-8. Lambert went 3-for-3 with three RBIs and scored twice and Abney finished 2-for-2 with one RBI, two runs scored and a walk for Stonewall, which fell victim to five errors.

Sadie Larney blasted a home run and a double and drove in two runs in a 2-for-3 outing for the Lady Tigers, while Shelby Centerl went 2-for-4 with a triple and three RBIs. Catcher Jaelyn Flanary added three hits and scored twice in a 14-hit KHS offense.Winning pitcher Crissy Sharp finished 2-for-2 with a double, one RBI and a walk. Brady Rowland hit a home run and finished 2-for-3 to pace the Lady Leopards.

NOTEWORTHY: Kinsey Nix and Meegan Costner each collected a pair of hits and Katey Read limited Tupelo to two as the Allen Lady Mustangs downed the Lady Tigers 4-1 on Tuesday. Read also recorded a strikeout and walked only one as the lone Tupelo run was unearned. Nix went 2-for-4 with a triple and scored once and Costner ended up 2-for-3. Kaylyn Rowsey was 1-for-2 with two RBIs and a walk while Riley Koonce finished 1-for-3 with one RBI and scored once.
