Sophomore Nelaina Baker poured in 29 points and pulled down eight rebounds as the Latta Lady Panthers slammed Snyder 75-49 Saturday afternoon for a Class 2A regional runner-up title at Minco High School.

     Latta, 19-9, advances to play the Dale/Amber-Pocasset loser Thursday in a Class 2A area tournament in Anadarko.

     Carlee Henderson added 14 points, including two 3-pointers, and 13 assists to the Lady Panther attack, while Sydney Brinlee and Laramie Edens chipped in 10 points apiece. Edens ended up with a double-double as she also snatched 11 boards.

     Latta owned a dominating 42-13 rebounding advantage.

     Marley Anderson fired in 38 points, including five treys, to pace Snyder. Anderson, a senior, was a state tournament most valuable player as a sophomore.

     The Lady Panthers — ranked No. 18 — took a 21-12 lead after one quarter, led 38-19 at halftime and were up 55-35 heading into the fourth quarter.
