OKLAHOMA CITY — Colton Campbell finished second in the high jump to lead a Konawa contingent that competed at the Class 2A State Track meet, held earlier this month at Western Heights High School.

The junior turned in a jump of six feet even to claim the silver medal.

Freshman Sarah Gee finished sixth in the 3200-meter run with a time of 13:12.59 and 10th in the 1600-meter run in 5:53.44. Gee was also part of the 4x800-meter relay team that placed seventh with a time of 10:46.85. Other members of the squad included Kayden King, Kashyn Ortiz and Chyanne Crenshaw.

In the 4x400-relay race, a Konawa girls team consisting of Kayden King, Kashyn Ortiz, Charlyee Ortiz and Charlene Galimba finished 12th with a time of 4:25.85.

Freshman Isaiah Gore finished eighth in the long jump at 19 feet, .50 inches.
