MCGEE CREEK — The Coalgate tandem of Larry and Tim McCollum placed first at the latest Ada Bassin’ Buddies fishing tournament on a windy McGee Creek.

The McCollumns turned in a stringer full of bass weighing 8.42-pounds.

Derek Rosey of Ada teamed with Brian Weatherford of Wynnewood and captured second place with a 7.02-pound stringer.

Third place went to Sulphur’s Larry Palmer and Rick Thompson at 6.37-pounds while Larry Minson of Norman and Kevin McDaniel of Blanchard followed at fourth with a 5.69-pound stringer.

Ada’s Wayne Mison and Jake Standard hauled in a 2.01-pound fish to claim Big Bass honors.

There were 21 teams entered in the tournament.
