OKEMAH — The Byng High School boys golf team brought home the third place trophy from the Okemah High School golf tournament Wednesday by shooting a team score of 347.

Leading the way for the Pirates was Adam Roach with a round of 83 followed by Boadie Willis (85), Tanner Pogue (88), Seth Hudson (91) and Shane Sorrels (101).

Winning the tournament was Okemah with a team stroke total of 327. Okemah’s Justin Martin won the individual title with a sub- par round of 70.

The Pirates return to action Monday at McAlester.
