Coalgate seniors

Coalgate seniors pose with the 2018 Boggy Bottom Bowl traveling trophy after whipping archrival Atoka 58-0 Friday night at Donal Mike Mayer Field. The Wildcats have now won seven straight games against the Wampus Cats and lead the storied series 55-50. The first Boggy Bottom Bowl game was played in 1915 (a 68-7 Coalgate win). The series has been played continuously since 1923. Coalgate, now 2-0, is off until traveling to Antlers Sept. 14.
