Roff schedules physical exams for July 12-13 

ROFF — All Roff female athletes entering grades 7-12 will have physicals in the Roff Student Center on Monday July 12, at 2 p.m.

Male athletes entering grades 7-12 will have physicals on Tuesday, July 13, at 2 p.m.

Athletes need to pick up paperwork from their coach or the high school office before the day of physicals. Cost is $10.

Byng physical exams take place Aug. 2

BYNG — Byng athletic physicals will take place Monday, Aug. 2, at 5:30 p.m. in the high school gymnasium (Bill Koller Field House).

All male and female Byng athletes entering grades 7-12 must a physical exam.

Cost is $10 per student.

Co-ed softball tourney planned July 10 in Maud

MAUD — A co-ed softball tournament is scheduled for Saturday, July 10 at Maud High School.

Entry fee is $10 per player with a minimum of $100 per team and is due by Wednesday, July 7. Lineups must consist of seven male and three female players. All players must be 16 or older to participate in the double-elimination tournament.

T-shirts and trophies will be awarded for first and second place. Concessions will be available.

All proceeds will benefit the Maud softball program.

BodyTech Fitness to host 

four-week boot camp

ADA — BodyTech Fitness is hosting a four-week, indoor boot camp beginning July 19.

The camp will feature a mixture of kickboxing, calisthenics and fun workouts.

The camp is open to all ages and fitness types and will include weekly support meetings to monitor progress and discuss nutrition.

Registration still under way for Ada Youth Football

ADA — The Ada Youth Football League is still taking registrations for its upcoming 2010 season.

Community athletes and parents interested in participating for the 2010 AYFL season should register online at the league’s Web site at

Along with teams forming for students entering the third, fourth, fifth and sixth grades next fall, the 2010 season will also include the addition of cheerleading squads.
