NOTEWORTHY: Led by runner-up finishes from Margo Martin in No. 1 Singles and the team of Taylor Alexander and Tori Ross in No. 2 Doubles, the Lady Cougars placed second at the Claremore Tournament on Thursday. Bishop McGuinness won the even with a team score of 36 while Ada followed at 26.

NOTEWORTHY: Three of Ada’s four entries played in championship games as the Cougars finished second to Heritage Hall Tuesday at the Claremore Tournament. Thomas Brittain and Ryan Burkhart won the No. 2 Doubles title, rallying past a team from Heritage Hall 2-6, 6-3, 6-2.
