NOTEWORTHY: Both Lady Cougar doubles teams, Erica Poe and Madison Whitworth at No. 1 and Andrea Gourley and Allison Keel at No. 2, made it to the finals, where both lost to teams from Bishop McGuinness — which won the team title. Ada singles player Margo Martin won third place at No. 1, but teammate Jennifer West lost her third-place match at No. 2 S

ingles. As a team, the Lady Cougars were runners-up to McGuinness. This weekend’s Seminole Tournament, for the most part, was rained out. The Lady Cougars got some matches in before the rains came on Friday, but the rest of the girls portion of the tournament as well as the boys portion on Saturday were rained out and will not be rescheduled.
