Ada finished with a team total of 313 and was five strokes ahead of second-place Plainview at the end of the day. Southmoore was third at 323. COACHES QUOTE: “It is really nice to get a tournament win. The kids did not get off to a very good start, and really held things together well. We needed to win a tournament to gain some confidence heading into the strong part of our schedule. Wyatt continues to play well, and the rest of the team seems to be getting better each time we tee it up. We did not play up to our potential, and still managed to get a win. When we do play to our ability level, we are going to be very hard to deal with,” — Ada head coach Robbie Powell.
