NOTEWORTHY: Moss snapped a 1-1 tie with a four-run rally in the third and broke the game open with a six-run outburst in the sixth. Brittany Sanders had two of Tupelo's six hits and drove in three of the Lady Tigers' four runs in the loss.

NOTEWORTHY: Joe Nemecek combined with Hunter Capps and drove in five runs with a home run, a triple and a single to lead Byng to the road rout. Freshman Gage Wall also had three hits and drove in five runs, and Reid Wall and Whitey Fortner scored four runs apiece in the win.

Team Records: Byng 3-1.

NOTEWORTHY: Sean Fleming scored Jake Frazier with the winning run with one out in the seventh to give Asher the walkoff victory. Roff rallied from an early 6-0 deficit to take an 8-7 lead with two runs in the top of the seventh, but winning pitcher Tanner Andrews and Frazier doubled leading off the bottom of the inning to tie the score ahead of the game-winning hit by Fleming. Zach Fowler and Andrews each had three of Asher's 13 hits in the win. Dalton Reed and Hunter Larsh had two hits apiece and scored Roff's runs in the seventh after leading off the inning with singles.

NOTEWORTHY: Trent Storts and Bryce Harris both had two hits and two RBIs apiece as Latta held off Rattan to win third place in the rugged Dale Tournament Saturday evening. Kade Hayes pitched five-plus innings to earn the mound win in relief.

Team Record: Latta 2-2.

NOTEWORTHY: Taylor Canida didn't allow a hit and struck out 10 over four innings, and junior Lauren Trimmer was a home run shy of the cycle in leading Roff to the championship game. Canida hit a batter to just miss a perfect game.

NOTEWORTHY: Taylor Canida remained unscored upon in five starts, tossing a one-hitter, and she also had two of Roff's seven hits in the championship win. Amy Crawford also had two hits and drove in two runs for the Lady Tigers.

COACHES QUOTE: "We played a little tight in the finals but came up with some nice plays when we need to for the win. It's nice to get a championship under our young ones' belts." — Roff coach Kathy Gregson.
