Overview of new Life Community Church to be presented Sunday

Ada —

A project overview of Life Community Church's new building and memorial chapel will be presented Sunday.

Worship service begins at 10 a.m. at the current location for Life Community Church, 330 E. 14th Street.

Hugh Sprague of Sprague & Associates of Oklahoma City, the architect for the new Life Community Church and Memorial Chapel, will give an update on the project. Groundbreaking for the new facility was June 4.

Sprague is also associated with Sprague Construction, the company that will manage the construction project for the new Life Community Church and Memorial Chapel, as well as the Chickasaw Pavillion (which is also on this 10 acre site). He will provide a detailed update on the status of this major construction project, including information on new features related to the overall project.

Following the project overview, there will be a reception to welcome Curtis and Jeanelle Reese, new associate pastors for the LCC.  The Reeses joined LCC at the beginning of October.  Curtis Reese was ordained in 1983 and received his first full-time pastorate in 1989.  Prior to joining the LCC, the Reeses led Spirit Life Community Church in Sanger, Texas. The LCC reception for the Reeses is also open to the public.

Like many Christian Churches, the LCC celebrates October as “Pastor Appreciation Month.”  As part of this group of events on Sunday, Oct. 28, the LCC will celebrate (with appreciation) the work of LCC Pastors Mickey and Glenda Keith.
