'Heaven's Gates & Hell's Flames' coming to Sulphur

The Ada News

Stratford —

First Free Will Baptist Church of Sulphur is bringing back "Heaven’s Gates & Hell’s Flames" to Sulphur. "Heaven’s Gates and Hell’s Flames" was here in 2005, 2006 and 2008, ministering to thousands of people in the surrounding areas. The church house was full each night, and the production extended each year to accommodate the huge crowds.

Viewed by millions the world over, “Heaven’s Gates & Hell’s Flames” is a high-impact, compelling, multi-media production intensified by elaborate visual sound and lighting effects. The drama includes a cast of approximately 40 volunteers acting out a series of vignettes about people who make choices throughout their lives, die and find themselves facing their eternal destination.

The presentation is designed to impact the audience with the Biblical reality of Heaven, Hell, “life after death,” and the importance of believing in Jesus Christ to assure a person’s eternal destiny in Heaven.

The drama is scheduled for Oct. 7-9 (Sunday through Tuesday) at 7 p.m.  at First Free Will Baptist Church of Sulphur, 1222 W. Oklahoma Ave.

The production of Reality Outreach Ministries has been playing to packed auditoriums not only throughout North America, but worldwide. Admission is free. However, space is limited.

“As the pastor of the church, it’s exciting to be involved in something so special! Our church and the community have not quit talking about the previous productions and the impact it made on Sulphur," said Dick Terry, pastor of the church. "The really exciting aspect of this production is that our own people will actually be putting on the drama. They are excited to be a part of it again.”

Church groups are welcome, but the church requests advanced notice. A nursery and children’s program for children under 8 years of age will be provided nightly. Because of the special effects and intensity of the production, the church asks that all children under 8 attend the children’s services.
