Church conducts study on Rev. 13

ADA — New Life Church of the Apostolic Faith conducts a study on the mark of the beast mentioned in Revelation 13. The study is open to the public. For more information, phone 436-1765.


Praise and worship concert scheduled

ADA — Messianic Jewish Recording artists Dan and Melissa David present a praise and worship concert at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, at Olive Branch Fellowship, 600 W. 9th (corner of 9th and Oak streets). The concert is free and open to the public.

ABT ministers to Ada community

ADA — Ada Baptist Temple, 301 Napier St., works at ministering to every person. It has a children’s ministry with a graded Sunday school and two children’s churches. Emilee Prenevost is director of the nursery.

Four different adult Bible study classes begin at 10 a.m. Sunday. Mickey Hollars, pastor, teaches the Growing-N-Grace class. This class teaches fundamental Bible principles to help Christians grow. Robert Eberle, pastor, teaches a class that deals with contemporary issues. A class taught by Ricky Riddle, a Bible student,  deals with Bible prophecy and end times.  Tomas Chavez teaches a Bible Study class in Spanish.

Singles group begins studies

ADA — United Methodist Church Singles are launching a new series of studies beginning Jan. 15.  Kickoff evening is Tuesday, Jan. 8 at 7 p.m. at First United Methodist Church located at 14th and Townsend in the Disciples classroom. Kickoff will include fellowship and pot-luck meal. Meat will be provided. For more information, phone Lou at 580 320-2826.


Breakfast Sunday set at local church

ADA — First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) gathers at 9:45 a.m. Jan. 6 in fellowship hall for Breakfast Sunday.

A free clothing and coat give-away takes place from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, in fellowship hall of the church.
